REGULAR CLASSES • BARTLETT LEARNING CENTER

Build something new. Learn something real.

Our regular Young Engineers classes give kids a hands-on STEM experience they can look forward to each week — building, experimenting and discovering how engineering works.

OUR CORE PROGRAMS

Two ways to engineer, create and problem-solve.

Bricks Challenge

Bricks Challenge

Kids explore mechanics, physics and engineering principles through motorized builds. Each project turns a STEM idea into something they can build, test and see in action.

MechanicsPhysicsCreative building
AlgoPlay

AlgoPlay

Kids combine building with coding and robotics concepts, learning how instructions, movement and problem-solving come together to make their creations work.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A class built around doing — not just watching.

1

Learn the idea

We introduce the engineering or STEM concept in a kid-friendly way with real-world examples.

2

Build the project

Students work hands-on to assemble a Young Engineers model and see the concept come to life.

3

Test & explore

Kids run their builds, troubleshoot, make discoveries and learn why the mechanism works.

WHY THE BARTLETT CENTER?

Small-group STEM in our own dedicated space.

The Bartlett Learning Center gives families another way to experience Young Engineers beyond our park district programs. The smaller setting is ideal for kids who enjoy a focused environment and parents looking for a convenient local option.
